Requirements of Adjunct Cello Professor Candidates • Master’s Degree • Professional Cello Performing Experience and Focus • Team Teaching capability as a cello instructor in the college environment • Cello Teaching Experience in the college/university environments preferred • Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills Audition/Interview • Complete an audition/interview process • Audition with solo works on Cello as needed • May be asked to teach a short lesson with a student as possible • Discuss cello/strings pedagogy and concepts with the staff
