Whitinsville Christian School seeks an energetic faculty member to join the Strings Program to teach advanced violin and viola lessons, along with after-school elementary group classes and some beginning students. This is a part-time position with potential to transition to full-time in coming years. Some extra-curricular ensemble opportunities may also be available.
Qualified candidates must possess:
a bachelor’s or advanced degree
a willingness to embrace the Whitinsville Christian School educational community
experience with teaching students on string instruments (Suzuki training preferred)
a desire to belong to a faculty that works to help students develop their God-given skills, strive for excellence in their craft, and work together to joyfully serve others
a willingness to effectively and regularly communicate with students and parents
Candidates with experience and/or the desire to teach additional music classes or lead extra-curricular ensembles will be given preference
