Barton Community College seeks a full-time, replacement Director of Instrumental Activities to teach music education courses and to oversee the instrumental music program of the music department including concert band, jazz band, pep band and individual applied lessons.
A Master's degree or higher in Music Education or related field is required with a minimum of five years of band directing at the high school or college level. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in assessment of student learning and who incorporate teaching methods, processes, and technologies that enhance student learning.

The Barton County campus serves as the main campus for Barton. We are located high atop a hill on 160 acres three miles northeast of Great Bend across the road from Bissells Point.
