Gardiner Schools seeks a dynamic, team oriented individual to take over our K-12 Music program and join the Gardiner education team. This position teaches the following:
Music to K-6 students 30 minutes twice a week, 9-12 Band, 9-12 Choir, and JH Band/Choir.
We have high student participation and individual will lead the pep band at the homecoming parade and all home HS basketball games. The pep band travels to our athletic team’s post season events. Our elementary and high school bands perform winter holiday concerts and spring concerts here at our school. The HS band and choir perform at the District and State Music festivals each spring.
Gardiner sits at the north gate of Yellowstone National Park with numerous outdoor recreational opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS: Montana Teaching Certificate with necessary endorsements or ability to get a Class 5 Provisional license, Transcripts, District or Universal Application, Letter of Interest, Resume, and three Letters of Recommendation.
START DATE: 8/19/19
SALARY RANGE: $34,220-$44,280, depending on education and experience. The district will accept up to five years of experience for placement on the salary schedule per the CBA. There is a $2898 stipend for pep band/choir. The school district contributes $718/mo. towards district health insurance plan (These numbers could go up depending on current year negotiations.)
The position will close on May 16, 2019 or until filled. Interviews will be scheduled on May 23, 2019.
