North Broward Preparatory School is now accepting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Upper School Band Director (Grade 6-12) to begin in August 2020.
The North Broward Preparatory School is deeply committed to arts education. Our music program is an important part of our curricula, school culture, and plays a critical role in our students' academic growth.
The Upper School Band Director is responsible for implementing a rigorous and differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of the ensemble as well as the individual, instructing multiple grade levels, fostering a positive community, and preparing students for performances, competitions, and festivals. This position works collaboratively with the Music Department Coordinator, Fine Arts faculty and staff, and reports to the Director of Fine Arts.
