Berwick Academy seeks a music educator to teach in our Middle and Upper Schools for the 2020-2021 school year. Responsibilities of this full-time position include teaching Middle School band classes (grades 5 through 8) as well as Upper School concert or jazz band. Candidates also capable of teaching chorus and eMusic are of particular interest. 

This teacher will be a member of the Performing Arts Department and will report to the Director of Visual and Performing Arts. Ideal candidates have experience in music education, an understanding of the unique developmental needs of Middle and High School students, and an interest in collaborating with colleagues.  Strong time management and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.  The position requires an organized, flexible, and creative approach to working with students and parents.
