The Santa Rita Union School District is seeking a candidate to fulfill the responsibility of Elementary School Music Teacher by planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process of the students within the framework of the District's philosophy. The teacher provides the appropriate learning atmosphere and activities designed to maximize student competencies and skills toward a successful future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Teaches general music to elementary school students
• Provides opportunities for music ensembles including band and musicals.
• Differentiate music curriculum to meet the needs of the individual student and student body.
• Plans a balanced music program and organizes daily class time so that preparation, rehearsal, and instruction can be accomplished within the allotted time.
• Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior to provide a productive environment during class, practice, group rehearsals, and music performances.
• Communicates clearly with parents and school faculty/staff on the progress of individual students.
• Maintains care/responsibility for school-owned music instruments and equipment to prevent loss or
abuse.
