Located in the heart of the Yakima Valley, Wapato Public Schools serve an average of about 3300
students a year at its 4-elementary schools (Camas, Satus, Adams, and Simcoe), 1-Middle School and
2-High Schools (Wapato High & PACE).
The District is proud of its culturally diverse student body. It is made up of 72%-Hispanic, 20%-
Native American, 3%-White, 2%-Asian and 3% two or more races. Administrators, staff and
students are always looking for opportunities to celebrate that diversity whether it is the annual
Cultural Unity Fair at the Middle School or Filipino Week at the High School.
