Assistant Professor, Director of UNM Music Prep School and String Lab School
The University of New Mexico is seeking a tenure-track music faculty member to serve as the Director of the UNM Music Prep School (MPS) and String Lab School (SLS) community music programs. This Assistant Professor will provide vision for, and administration of, these community music programs. Duties will include overseeing daily operations, supervision of staff, budget management and scheduling. This will also include working in coordination with the UNM Foundation to maintain donor relationships, developing and maintaining marketing materials, and pursuing grant opportunities. The successful candidate will design and develop curricula in the MPS and SLS to enhance the educational offerings in these community music programs.
