This position is responsible for three (3) concert bands, one (1) percussion ensemble, one (1) of two (2) jazz bands, marching band, and pep band.  The West Valley School district in Yakima, WA has seen continued success in all three areas wind band related music education and has strong administration and parent support, including a long established band booster organization.   Washington State is in the top ten of highest paid teachers in the U.S.  This position also includes  stipends in addition to salary schedules per Washington State and the CBA with the District.
