Location: Various locations across Texas (including Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio)?

Job Description:

AutismFriendlyShows.com is seeking a passionate and experienced Music Therapist or Early Childhood Music Performer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music therapy and/or music education and have a commitment to using music as a tool for education and empowerment. This role involves delivering interactive music concerts to children and families in various settings, including schools, libraries, and community centers.?

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct engaging music concerts tailored to the needs of diverse audiences?
• Utilize a variety of musical instruments and techniques to promote learning and social interaction?
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized goals?
• Document session outcomes and maintain accurate records?
• Participate in training, outreach and professional development opportunities?

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy or Music Education from an accredited institution?
• Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)? or music educator
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children, including those with special needs?
• Proficiency in playing guitar, piano, or other accompanying instruments?
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills?
• Ability to travel to various locations within Texas
